Appearance:She has short, dark brown hair, with the same creepily light eyes as Alex. She’s fairly short herself and as a slim build. She wears a hoodie with a t-shirt under it, a denim miniskirt, black leggings, and sneakers.
Abilities: She’s an investigative journalist by trade, and as a result has become rather adept at hacking. Other than that, she has no special abilities.
Personality: Much like her brother, Dana is a pro at manipulating people, thinks she’s the coolest shit ever, and knows how to avoid answering direct questions. Because of this, combined with being really nosy, she took to investigative journalism like a fish to water. She’s not the kind of girl to stand down in a fight, despite her relatively weak physical stature. She might not be the most intelligent girl (Alex definitely got the brains in the family), she’s street smart and she knows it. Dana curses like a sailor and is disrespectful as hell of most authority. Despite her gruff attitude towards most people, she rather obviously loves her brother a lot and is willing to help her as much as she can despite him being, y’know. A mass of tentacles. However, she has a definite set of morals and once Alex crosses that line, she doesn’t hesitate to help someone who might genuinely fix things kill him.
History: Dana is nine years younger than Alex, and looked up to him not only as an older brother but also as a parental figure. When she was 20, she moved to New York City to look for her brother who she hadn't seen or heard from since he started working for Gentek five years prior. He contacted her a few months after she moved there and asked her to look into Gentek's activities which she did in the hopes of helping him out. A few days later, she was put under house arrest by Blackwatch because she was related to Alex who they were hoping would come looking for her. Which he did, post being virus'd. Which ended up kinda being bad for Blackwatch, imagine that. They fled to a place that Dana had been using to conduct research in secret and used it as a safe house while Alex tried to piece together everything that had happened with Dana's help. Using a laptop Alex had sent her when he first wanted her to research Gentek, she sent Alex out on missions to figure out what happened to him prior to the outbreak because he couldn't remember. Eventually, Dana was taken hostage by a Hunter as ordered by fellow virus Elizabeth Greene, which made Alex go and save her. He did, delivering her to Dr. Ragland to take care of while she was still in a coma.
She recovered from her coma prior to the second outbreak and moved to the Yellow Zone to head up the resistance movement against Blackwatch under the name Athena. She provided intelligence to several key members during the second outbreak including Luis Guerra who passed the information along to James Heller. After Guerra's death, Dana contacted Heller personally to inform him of his daughter's whereabouts and helped him with information on how to kill her brother, who she acknowledged at this point was no longer really the Alex she used to know. Alex locked both Amaya and Dana in a bank vault for safe keeping, and they were both released by Heller after he had killed Mercer.
Roleplay Sample - Log: It had been an incredibly long day. Missed her stop on the train going uptown to get some gossip for her column at the advice of a reliable source, arrived to find a fleet of other news trucks and cameramen and reporters out front, decided it wasn't worth it to wait for a story every other reporter in the city would have, decided she'd go ahead and go to the east side as long as she was slightly close to where her brother lived, learned he wasn't home, got stuck on the 6 train for forty fucking minutes in the middle of a tunnel, got harassed by a mariachi band on the L, and finally made it back to her apartment at around 4. Yippee-ki-ay her life was exciting. God, what she wouldn't give for something interesting to happen to her just this once and then she'd never ask for anything ever again.
When she opened the door to her apartment to see a man pointing a gun at her and informing her that his squad had surrounded her building, she swore that if she survived this, she'd remember to keep her big mouth shut.

Yeah, this is real fucking great.
This game includes horrible mental and physical torture of your character. After reading the rules/faq for clarification, how do you expect your character to handle this and continue to function? She survived a pair of outbreaks without having a complete meltdown. I think she’ll be fine. (Plus, she has big bro to help her)
